Overview

The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is looking for a pleasant and friendly Member Service Attendant to join our team! As the front-line employee, your role will be extremely important for improving member experience and satisfaction. Your goal should always be to make our members and visitors feel welcome and comfortable while in our facility.

 

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.  The Member Service Attendant is responsible for member satisfaction and retention through impeccable member service and practices that promote member engagement.  The Member Service Attendant will greet members by name, scan membership cards for entry, regulate traffic in the center, and know and uphold facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Greet Members and Visitors
  • Ensure that daily care of members is the priority.
  • Scan membership cards and check passes.
  • Assist facility users with questions regarding services or other information.
  • Communicate and ensure that the guest pass policy is communicated and followed.
  • Check reservations as required in the facility
  • Distribute swim bands to all children 12 years of age and under as needed in the facility.
  • Follow-up with all member inquiries and/or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them when needed.
  • Respond to emergency situations by adhering to the safety policies and procedures set for the association.
  • Consistently deliver excellence in member service and member engagement.
  • Accountable to the Membership/Branch/Operations Director for the execution of policies and procedures of the Association.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 16
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work well and effectively communicate with a diverse population in a wide variety of situations
  • Computer skills, organization, and communication are strongly emphasized.

Posted Salary Range

USD $14.81 - USD $14.81 /Hr.
